Together with REMA, we have spent 6 months developing a tool that enables stores to continuously collect data on their management muscle.
The starting point for the collaboration was a desire for data and knowledge from all employees in the stores that could help support the individual store owner in the development of his or her store based on the thesis that employee competences drive the difference in interaction with culture. The goal is to be able to deliver the desired results and, not least, build 'great people', which is a big part of REMA's mission - right from the Norwegian head office.
Together with REMA, we have created a fully customised solution, distributed through the Ex3 platform. Sending can be automated according to REMA's wishes and needs. Through role identification, merchants, local management, regional managers and senior management have access to data and graphs so they can continuously follow developments, set clear goals and create direction in the store or stores they are responsible for.
REMA's Leadership Diamond
REMA has developed a Management Diamond, which brings together a number of basic elements that draw on REMA's "Our Philosophy". This philosophy provides knowledge about how stores develop and creates the best framework for empowering employees and achieving strong integrated teamwork.
Together with REMA, we have developed a PCI questionnaire for this model, which is the core for a number of indicators in the organisation. The PCI questionnaire can be sent out continuously and collect data on how employees experience involvement, standards, structure, feedback, community, presence in management, planning and much more. Employees are predominantly asked about their assessment of how strongly these things are perceived in and around the store they are a part of.
Through measurement, the organisation gains an increased awareness of the mechanisms between people and the fundamental elements that create the best working conditions for store teams as a whole.
The concept is rolled out via the Ex3 platform, where we have worked with REMA to find the right solution for sending out the questionnaires. Via the platform, REMA grocers and their hinterland can now follow the employees' experiences via data presented in graphs. The retailer can quickly adjust and target initiatives if there are points where scores are low, for example on a specific employee group.

The Ex3 platform makes it simple and operational to create insights into the mechanisms between people. This strengthens the organisation's culture, common language and common direction.
